UNIVERSITY PREPARATION COURSES:

 

University English Prep Class: For General University Level Ability and TOEFL/ IELTS type tests.

Starting at $500 per 4 week session -Small group price if available

Or $150 per 6 to 8 hour-day Private classes for 1 student.

(This is a huge savings of $1000 to $6000 per month compared with normal Private Advanced Classes at $50 to $75 per hour.)

Minimum of 4 weeks required.

All topics: 16 weeks total. *Not all of the following topics will be covered if all 16 weeks are not taken.

Minimum of 6 (SIX) 50-minute classes per day required.

Minimum of 2 hours or more of homework will be given almost daily.

 

Required Beginning Level for student: Upper Intermediate or Advanced (based on EFL Level Speaking, Reading Comprehension, and Writing Test and Student Interview with Academic Director.)

 

Course Consists of

• University level ability Diagnostic Test and Post-Tests *Official Test Centers are in Maitland (TOEFL) & Tampa (IELTS)

• Study Skills

• Critical/Analytical Thinking/ Logic

• Listening for Understanding while Note-taking for the purpose of Written Examinations or Essays

• Reading Comprehension for the purpose of Written Examinations or Essays

• A Combination of Listening, Note-Taking, Reading for the purpose of Written Essays and Oral Reports

• Public Speaking including Intro to Debate.

• 5 types of Essay Writing: Narrative, Persuasive, Expository, Classification, Compare and Contrast (2),

Intro to Thesis Writing is not included. If it’s requested, it requires extra private hours, $50 per hour.

 
Private TUTORING $25 to $50 per hour depending on the subject and language: for varied subjects in English, Bi-Lingual Spanish, Bi-Lingual Portuguese. Kindergarten to 12th grade (Senior in High school) and University Level: Reading Comprehension, Pronunciation, Spelling, Writing, Math, Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Science, Biology, Physics, and more.
